Very nice visualization of CSHPs

Planenergi has made a very inspiring annimation of the developmen of central solar heating plants in Denmark, the country that still leads this are. I hope that other areas in the world will move fast now and challenge our position as world champion in CSHP in cooperation with us.

Being consultant at current time, I invitet my readers to contact me and get things done. You find me on LinkedIn. I work together with alle the other actors in the business. At this time, I/we are involved in a project in the Baltics and one in Australie. These jobs show clearly that the conditions for CSHPs and the so-called Seasonal Storage change dramatically these days. A scientific publication on this subject is on the way from my side, waiting for the review.

Denmark rounds the 1 GW solar thermal capacity

According to Planenergi, published in the Danish newspaper “Ingeniøren“, Denmark has an installed thermal solar capacity of 1.1 GW with an eara of 1.6 mio. m2 collectors distributed over 120 district heating companies. I assume that a lot of these area is produced by the Danish company Arcon-Sunmark. According to the national statistics by Denmarks Statistik, the solar heating is producing 1.482 TJ in 2016 and must be much highere these years. The potential is still large havning a demand for district heating in Denmark of 135.000 TJ in 2017.
